Philips Lighting has announced the new Philips Hue white ambiance E14 candle light bulb which can support a better night’s sleep by automatically and slowly dimming down two hours before bed.
Controllable via the Philips Hue app, the Philips Hue white ambiance E14 candle light bulb provides a broad spectrum of white light ranging from a cool, bright light, perfect for boosting concentrate, through to a warm light for creating a cozy ambiance.
Luc Schlangen, Scientist at Philips Lighting Research, said the Wake Up & Go function can help users sync their sleep routine with their biological clock, while the Nightlight feature creates a warm, low light for when a user needs to get up in the middle of the night.
